BRIGALDARA: BETWEEN THE LESSINI MOUNTAINS AND VERONA’S COUNTRYSIDE, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE VALPOLICELLA’S WINE ROUTE, FACING GARDA LAKE
The Brigaldara winery is located just outside the town of San Floriano, in the heart of the Valpolicella region, north of Verona. It is at the entrance of the Marano valley, one of the four valleys that make up Valpolicella’s classical area, the original and oldest wine production area of the region.
The company estate covers 50 ha, planted with vineyards and olive groves. Close to the villa - home to the Cesari family - stands the converted-to-cellar farmhouse with its traditional portico.
The cellar is on two different levels and has been perfectly adapted to the structure of the farmhouse, without altering its original architecture. The upper part is dedicated to the reception and fermentation of the grapes, while the fining and maturing processes are carried out in the lower part, which also houses the wooden barrel cellar. Magnificent vineyards surround the entire property.
The buildings of the winery blend perfectly with the original structure of the villa and the surrounding valley.
